Read balance, usage, payments, and documents as separate records
For individual data operations, read how balance and refreshes work before approving a paid request.

Billing belongs to the active organization
The billing pages read the account attached to the active organization. Viewing billing and managing billing are separate capabilities. A billing viewer can inspect authorized figures without automatically receiving checkout, top-up, plan, cancellation, or payment-portal controls.
If the organization has no readable billing account, the interface reports that state. It must not be interpreted as a zero balance or zero usage.
Four views answer different questions
| View | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Overview | Current EUR balance, plan state, deposits, spend, recent balance movements, and a projection based on current-month spending. |
| Plan & Payment | Plan options, top-up packs, subscription changes, cancellation, checkout, and the customer portal. |
| Usage & Activity | Current or previous calendar-month spend grouped by capability, project, compute class, and returned activity. |
| Payments & Invoices | Filterable balance transactions, cash amounts, balance changes, status, document links, and CSV export. |
Metered operations use a prepaid EUR balance
Top-ups add the displayed EUR amount to the organization's usable balance. Paid subscriptions primarily expand product allowance and deposit a configured amount of prepaid balance each month. Existing balance remains after subscription cancellation while the account remains active.
The free plan can show a welcome balance. A balance movement is not the same thing as a card payment: promotions, admin grants, welcome credit, subscription deposits, top-ups, and refunds can change the balance for different reasons.
Estimate, reservation, settlement, and release can be separate states
Some metered operations check or reserve an estimated amount before work begins, then settle the recorded charge or release unused value. Activity may expose reserved, settled, released, or expired billing evidence for a supported operation.
A submitted request is not proof that its worker ran, and an estimate is not the final charge. Use the owning product for the run result, Activity for the operational trace, and Billing for the organization's financial read model.
Usage compares the current month with the previous month
Usage & Activity works with calendar-month keys, not the 30-day or 90-day Activity dashboard window. It reports total recorded spend, billable calls, success rate from returned feature statistics, and average cost for drafted articles when that measure is available.
Breakdowns group returned records by product capability, project, compute class, and activity. These are operational accounting views. They do not by themselves prove business value, content quality, or the cause of an SEO outcome.
If a charge needs explanation, inspect the corresponding operation status and billing evidence alongside the billing record.
Transaction history separates cash from balance movement
A row can show both the amount paid or refunded and the change applied to prepaid balance. Those figures can differ. The history also retains the source, payment status, balance after the event, and a provider order reference when one exists.
Filters cover subscription renewals, plan payments, top-ups, admin grants, refunds, welcome bonuses, and promotions. Loading more requests another bounded page. The CSV contains the rows loaded in the browser, so export after loading the range you need.
Invoices and receipts come from the payment provider
For eligible completed provider orders, the transaction table can open an invoice and a receipt. The customer portal handles payment details, taxes, invoices, payment methods, and subscription changes.
Crawl Foundry's balance history and usage ledger help explain product consumption. They are not substitutes for the provider-issued invoice or receipt. Reconcile the provider document, cash amount, and balance movement as separate records.
A capped summary is labelled rather than presented as complete
Transaction pages and summary scans use effective policy limits. When the summary scan stops at its limit, the interface marks the summary as partial, appends a plus sign to the count, and presents net cash as a lower bound when needed.
The current balance still comes from the billing account. Do not reconstruct it by summing a visibly partial transaction sample.
When a paid operation will not start or finish
Example: Reconciling a month
A finance contact compares the Usage view for the current month with the previous month and checks which features drove spend.
In the transaction history, a top-up shows the amount paid and the balance added. The invoice and receipt for that order open from the same row through the payment provider.
Frequently asked questions
Which plans are available?
Free costs EUR 0 with three workspaces and EUR 1 credit per month. Basic (EUR 30), Professional (EUR 60) and Business (EUR 100) add workspaces and include more monthly credit than they cost. Top-ups start at EUR 9.99.
What happens to my balance if I change plans?
Existing balance remains. Paid plans deposit their configured monthly credit on top of it.
Where do I find invoices?
Invoices and receipts come from the payment provider and open from eligible rows in the transaction history. The customer portal manages payment methods, taxes and subscriptions.
